Newly unsealed court documents have revealed that the man accused of killing conservative activist Charlie Kirk allegedly confessed his intentions in a letter written before the attack.
According to investigators, the suspect, Tyler Robinson, sent a message to his boyfriend on the day of the shooting, asking him to check under a keyboard at their home. There, a handwritten letter was reportedly found outlining Robinson’s plan.
In the note, Robinson allegedly wrote that he had left home “on a mission” and acknowledged that he could either be dead or face a long prison sentence. He further stated that he had the “opportunity” to target Charlie Kirk and acted on it, though he was uncertain at the time whether the attack would succeed.

Charlie Kirk, a prominent conservative activist and founder of Turning Point USA, was shot and killed during an outdoor event at Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah. The event was part of a nationwide speaking tour aimed at engaging students in political debate.
Authorities said Robinson fled the scene following the shooting, prompting a large-scale manhunt. He later surrendered to police the following day.
Robinson now faces multiple serious charges, including aggravated murder, discharging a firearm causing serious injury, obstruction of justice, and witness tampering. He has not yet entered a plea in the case.

The case has drawn significant attention due to the high-profile nature of the victim and the details emerging from the investigation, including the alleged premeditation described in the letter.
Legal proceedings are ongoing as authorities continue to build their case.
