MrBeast Company Faces Lawsuit Over Allegations of Workplace Harassment and Gender Bias
MrBeast’s media company, Beast Industries, has been sued by a former employee who has accused the organization of sexual harassment, gender bias, and wrongful termination.
The lawsuit was filed by Lorrayne Mavromatis, a former executive who worked at the company between 2022 and 2025. Mavromatis alleges that harassment against female employees was “condoned” within the workplace and that complaints were not taken seriously by management.
MrBeast, whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson, is one of the world’s most-followed YouTubers and employs more than 500 people through his media empire.
According to court documents, Mavromatis claims she was dismissed after raising concerns about what she described as a hostile work environment. She also alleges she was treated differently from male colleagues and demoted to a role she described as a “career dead-end” position.
In one of the claims cited in the lawsuit, a former executive allegedly made remarks suggesting that Donaldson’s interactions with female employees were influenced by their appearance. Mavromatis further claims she was terminated shortly after returning from pregnancy-related leave.

The lawsuit states that she suffered emotional distress, humiliation, and financial loss as a result of her treatment and is seeking compensation, including lost wages and reinstatement.
Beast Industries has strongly denied all allegations, calling the lawsuit “categorically false” and describing it as a “clout-chasing complaint.” The company insists it has extensive evidence, including messages and witness testimony, that contradicts the claims.
A company representative also stated that Mavromatis’ dismissal was part of a broader organizational restructuring affecting multiple employees, both male and female, and was not related to performance or complaints.
This is not the first time MrBeast’s organization has faced legal scrutiny. The company has previously been linked to separate allegations involving its reality show “Beast Games,” which Donaldson has denied, calling the claims exaggerated.
Beast Industries has said it will vigorously defend itself in court.
