Clavicular sued for battery and emotional distress over alleged facial injection of influencer

Controversial streamer Clavicular is facing a civil lawsuit filed by influencer Aleksandra Vasilevna Mendoza, who alleges fraud, battery, and severe emotional distress related to an incident involving an alleged facial injection during a livestream.

According to court documents cited by Us Weekly, Mendoza claims that Clavicular, whose real name is Braden Peters, convinced her he could help advance her social media career through a self-improvement concept he referred to as “looksmaxxing,” which focuses on enhancing physical appearance.

The lawsuit alleges the two met when Mendoza was 16 and that she later believed Peters could help boost her online presence. The complaint further claims that she was later sexually involved with him while allegedly intoxicated and unable to consent.

Court filings also allege that Peters discussed a culture of casual sexual encounters in online content and messaging.

A central claim in the lawsuit is that Peters allegedly injected Mendoza’s face with an unapproved substance during a session that was reportedly livestreamed. Mendoza’s legal team claims he falsely presented himself as medically qualified and suggested the procedure would reduce facial fat as part of his “looksmaxxing” approach.

The lawsuit states that the injection was performed without consent and resulted in both physical and psychological harm, including emotional trauma, humiliation, panic, and ongoing mental distress.

Under Florida law, the complaint argues these actions constitute battery and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

Peters’ attorney has denied all allegations. In a statement, his legal representative said the claims are “allegations only and remain unproven,” adding that Peters disputes the characterization of events and intends to “vigorously defend himself” through legal channels.

Clavicular has built an online following on platforms such as Kick and TikTok, where he posts content related to “looksmaxxing,” a controversial self-improvement trend focused on physical appearance.

In recent months, the streamer has also faced other controversies, including a reported medical emergency during a livestream and the removal of multiple YouTube channels for community guideline violations.

The case is ongoing.
